The Blogging Idol contest started about a week ago, and yet I’ve not finalized my plans for winning the contest and gaining more subscribers. Here are the methods through which I will gain subscribers:

Ask Every one I know to Subscribe
Although it is a bit unprofessional, I’ll still ask everyone of my friends and family to subscribe to my feed. This will increase the number of subscribers a lot.

Participate in Blogging forums
I’m going to participate in blogging forums which would promote my blog. I’m currently part of Blog Premiere, Bloggeries and BlogCatalog.

Comment on Blogs
I hope to comment on blogs more from now onwards. Not spammy comments but thoughtful and good ones. I’ll try to be the first to comment on all the blogs, even the A-listing blogs.

Contests and giveaways
After the present contest, there will be another contest and bonuses for the subscribers of the blog. (Psst. One more prize has been added to the list, go check it out here)
Those are my plans. Give me your opinions and suggestions on this matter.
Its the second of July. I know its a bit late to list out my goals for this month. But I have so many goals this month that I felt that it was necessary to list out my goals.
Goals are something that I don’t strictly follow, but I’m planning to follow them this time. I have made a separate page for my long-term goals.

Ahem, so here are my goals for the month of July.

Increase RSS subscribers to over 250 (currently 19)
This is my main goal is to increase the number of subscribers. I want it to be more than 250 by the end of July. I’m planning to hold another contest to increase the number of subscribers.

Get a logo designed for TeenBlogger.net
I’ve felt the need for a logo for my blog. Your blog brand tells about your blog. Plus having a logo gives you’re blog a more professional look. So I’m going to get a logo designed soon.

Write an ebook
Why ebook? Because I want TeenBlogger.net to have an authority in blogging. Hopefully, the ebook will be finished by 10th of July.

Guest post on 5 other blogs
I’ve heard that guest posting is a great way of increasing your blog traffic. So I’m going to guest post on atleast 5 other blogs in the same niche. If you want me to guest post on your blog, just drop me a comment and I’d be happy to.

Finish in the top 10 in the Blogging Idol contest
This one is hard to achieve. But I’ll try my best. I entered the contest mainly to compete against a hundred other bloggers. By achieving all the others hopefully I will be able to achieve this one. Wish me luck!
