Hello there guys. School just started about 2 weeks ago. Man! School is so stressful and homework is just inhuman. Anyway, enought of my ramblings. Today, while I signed into Entrecard. I saw the list of advertisers who were waiting for my approval. In the list I saw John Chow.

Well, A-listing bloggers like John Chow are advertising on my blog. Its just costs 16 entrecard credits to advertise on my blog, so get your space now, before its too late.

Entrecard has recently expanded the ways you can earn credits.

Option to Buy Credits

Finally, you can now buy credits. Since, credits are only earned by dropping, buying credits allows you to quickly launch a massive campaign.  On your dashboard, you can now find a link to Buy Credits. However, they are selling a limited amount of credits at this time.

Earn Credits every time you post on your Blog

Starting June 2nd, every time you post on your blog,  you will now earn 25 Entrecard Credits. However, this is limited to once every three days and is handled automatically by your RSS feed which Entrecard picks up automatically.

Write for the EC Blog - Earn Credits

Whenever you write for the Entrecard blog, you will earn credits. By writing for the EC Blog, you and your blog gain a lot of exposure and drives a lot of traffic to your blog. Entrecard hasn’t announced how much credits it will pay for writing, but they certainly have said this:

You will also be handsomely rewarded in credits. Your credit pay will be determined on the quality of the post you write. If it is a stellar post that is going to help people be better bloggers, build the community, etc. we will pay up to 2000 credits for your post. If it is just a simple update, or announcement, we may only pay a few hundred.

You can also earn a one-time 50 credits by subscribing to their blog via email.

Today, while I was signing in to Entrecard, there was a message saying that the server was overloaded and said to try logging in again after 10 minutes. Now, when I tried visiting the site, here’s the message that I got:

There was a fire at our datacenter resulting in the failure of some of our systems, our database server appears to be offline still, we’re working on it and we’re really sorry about the issues at this time. more information arriving shortly.

I don’t know what happened to the servers. But I hope the situation becomes normal soon.

Yesterday, while I was browsing through the Entrecard website, I saw that they featured an official e-book for download. I downloaded it immediately and read it. And I also visited their blog. They have made major changes to site and added a new feature. They are holding two big contests with a 75000 points giveaway.

First of all, Entrecard has announced a new feature : The ability to add more than one blog to an account!

Now, you can add all your blogs to Entrecard simply by going to your Dashboard and clicking “Linked Blogs” in your Dashboard navigation. Continue reading →
