There’s a new service out there that will allow you to make money from your blogroll. Blogrolled.com is a service that is similar to Text Link Ads. However, they’re selling links in the blogroll to hide the fact that they are paid links.

Blogroll is usually a place where bloggers link to other bloggers. Blogroll links are full follow links which means that they are full of search engine juice and help in rankings. Google left the blogroll alone since links in it are generally not paid ones. Blogrolled.com, taking advantage of this fact, is allowing to place paid links in the blogroll.

Advertisers can search through a list of blogs that are offering blogroll links. Pricing is done on a monthly rate. Publishers are paid by PayPal.

Blogrolled.com aims to be totally stealth in order to avoid the wrath of Google. There is no code or scripts involved. When a sale is made, the publisher is notified by email. The publisher will then place the link into his blogroll the same way he enters any other blogroll links.

It will be interesting to see how Google responds to this new method of paid links in the blogroll.

What do you think of this method of monetizing the blogroll?

I’ve started monetizing my blog with Bidvertiser!

I’ve just signed up with Bidvertiser, the contextual advertising service to use on my blog. The reason I chose Bidvertiser was : low $10 payout. I hope to make money from Bidvertiser. I ads blend in very well with the site, too. They don’t look gruesome. The reasons I chose Bidvertiser over Adsense are:

  • Bidvertiser has a low $10 payout compared to the $100 that of Adsense.
  • Bidvertiser ads can be customized according to your own preference.
  • You can choose the ads that would appear on your blog. And you are even given the chance to block some ads that you might not like (I like this one!).
  • Bidvertiser is perfect for a starting blogger like me.

Well, what are you waiting for? Sign up for Bidvertiser now.
